The first edition of the B'Newson 2026!

After being away for a while, we are finally back! These past few months have been busy, and while there is a lot we can't reveal just yet, we are incredibly excited to share it with you soon. We hope you’ve had a great start to the year and that you’ve had the chance to rest and enjoy time with your families and loved ones.

In this first edition of 2026, we’ll catch you up on what we’ve been up to, highlight key events in the crypto world, share international remote job openings, and announce a couple of exciting hackathons happening this month!

Impacta Bootcamp 🌎

Last Monday, we launched one of our biggest projects yet. With the support of the Trustless Work team, we’ve set out to introduce and strengthen technical skills across Latin America for building on Stellar. The results have already exceeded all our expectations!

We had an amazing turnout with over 250 builders joining our first virtual session. On top of that, our in-person "satellite" sessions in Colombia, Argentina, Bolivia, and Costa Rica brought together more than 150 additional builders!

This bootcamp has a special build in public focus, and we are thrilled with how the StarMaker community has embraced the program. Here are some of the highlight posts:

GIVE Colombia | Impact Studio 🇨🇴

From March 6th to 15th, we'll be holding our Impact Studio builder retreat in Medellín, Colombia. This retreat is part of Stellar's GIVE program, which connects ecosystem partners with local communities around the world to solve everyday challenges using blockchain technology.

The most exciting part is that this retreat is directly linked to the Impacta Bootcamp. The top performers will have the chance to win a scholarship to travel to Medellín and experience this event! We'll also have national scholarships available to encourage strong participation from local builders in Colombia.
