September aligns with new orbits

In August, we accelerated Web3: more scholarships for Meridian, talent-packed hackathons, coffee and beer raves that brought the community together, and Stellar Fridays that connected and sparked ideas across Latin America.

Meridian is just around the corner and, together with Stellar, we’re awarding over 70 scholarships (full, housing, and travel) to the StarMaker ambassador community.

In addition, we’ve reserved 40 spots for HackMeridian, ensuring the participation of builders who will drive new ideas.

Hackathon with purpose in Buenos Aires

Thanks to Stellar’s GIVE program, we organized the Builder Retreat Constel(AR) to support energy and water infrastructure in the Tigre Delta.

From over 73 applications, 35 grantees from across the country —Mendoza, Salta, Córdoba, and Buenos Aires— participated in a unique two-phase hackathon: first, they designed the key components of the project (donor, recipient, and infrastructure), and then they joined forces as a startup to develop the complete solution.

A different kind of finale: Coffee Rave ☕🎶

To wrap up the hackathon, we hosted a Coffee Rave with Dropsland — a morning full of unconventional activities that brought the community together.

Builders enjoyed artistic experiences like creating their own collages, arranging flower bouquets, and sharing ideas to keep expanding the Web3 community. We had over 100 participants!

¡Stellar Summer/Winter Fridays near you!

We kicked off a series of gatherings leading up to Meridian that are already sparking excitement in Argentina, Costa Rica, Mexico, Colombia, and Bolivia.

Depending on the region, they’re either Summer or Winter Fridays, but always with the same goal: coworking, intro talks on Stellar, digital wallets, and smart contracts for beginners.

Coffee Rave: from Argentina to México

We brought the Coffee Rave to Cuernavaca to strengthen the Stellar ambassador program and bring communities together in a space filled with music, coffee, and creativity.

With interactive stations, guest DJs, activities like making your own friendship bracelet, and networking, the event sparked new partnerships and collaborative projects, leaving the community inspired and connected.

Multichain Beer Rave in Bogotá 🍻

As part of Colombia Tech Week, we joined forces with Avalanche to host a Beer Rave that brought Web3 communities together with great music, beers, and networking.

In addition to the integration, we shared a talk on the benefits of blockchain and explored the use of the Buckspay wallet within the Colombian ecosystem.
