Highlights from the BAF x Aptos Builder House at Consensus!

During Consensus, we had the amazing opportunity to co-host a Builder House in Toronto with Aptos. We welcomed 12 scholarship students for a week full of learning, networking, and building. They met amazing people from other protocols, learned about Aptos, and started creating their own ideas as part of the Easy A hackathon track.

The best part? Vincent Palmeiro, one of our fellows, won 3rd place in the Aptos track! We’re incredibly proud and can’t wait to see what he builds next 🚀

Blockchain University Summit Hits Consensus

As CoinDesk’s official education partner for the past four years, we’ve hosted the Blockchain University Summit—a space designed to bring students closer to various protocols and expand Web3 knowledge.
This year, we hosted four sessions led by Protocol Labs, Stellar, Aptos, and Hedera, where we explored topics like project marketing, tools for emerging creators, pitch tips, and more!

How does account abstraction work?

Account Abstraction aims to improve the Web3 experience by turning accounts into programmable smart contracts. This allows for customizable security rules, more flexible ways to sign transactions, and features like social recovery or gasless payments.
